I plan to travel to the Baltic countries between 30th of july and the 10th of August and I would like to visit Kaliningrad for not more than 1 or 2 days.
We are two adult persons coming from Spain (a Shengen country), and we will come from Klaipeda. We don’t know the exact dates of our arrival. Which is the best way to get our Visa? I know we need some photos but, what other document we need?

  11. Florian Schneider says:

    Hello,

I want to go to Kaliningrad in a few days. I have a russian visa, however it is a single entry visa. I then want to travel on to Moscow. I take it that by taking the plane from kaliningrad to Moscow I am not leaving the country and don’t need an additional visa, is that correct? The normal single entry visa is also not linked to a specific point of entry, right?
I hope you can help me with these questions!
    Kind Regards,

    Florian

    Thank you

    • Timur says:

      Hello Javierluz.
20.25 is too late for officer, work day end at 18:00.
You can change flight or get visa next morning.

Special for this flight the Ministy make exeption, so You can get this visa.

  35. petersblurb says:

This visa is totally impractical for crossing by car.

There is no way of knowing how long you will be in the queue at Mamonovo. I always allow the best part of a day – but I have spent as long as 36 hours at the border. So, 72 hours barely gives you time to turn around.

It isn’t official, but unless you give one of the guys with a walkie-talkie 50 Euro, you’ll spend days stuck there. So, this visa would end up costing nearly 200 Euro, which is crazy.

My advice in any case is not to travel to Kaliningrad by car. With foreign plates you will be stopped and shaken down for money by the local police at least every other day.

If you must go by car, take plenty of food, water and blankets for the border. Taking children is definitely not recommended.

    • Timur says:

Hello Petersblurb. Sorry of that, usually it takes 2 hour. I think You stay at the border at the most Russian hollyday — New Year.
But it’s not problem of visa.
(Petersblurb don’t order Visa at our company)

  36. Jagoba says:

  48. Fujii says:

    Hello dear

Could you tell me about visa for Kaliningrad?
I would like to enter from Nida by bus, then go out from Kaliningrad by bus or train.
I will stay 2 to 3 days. I am holding a Japanese passport.

Is the 72 hour visa available from Lithuania?
