Botanical Garden of Russian State University of Immanuel Kant is situated on the territory of the former Königsberg urban horticulture based Keber Paul, Professor, Head of the Department of Higher Plant Systematics and Königsberg University. Horticulture was founded in 1904 in one of the most beautiful areas of the city – Maraunengof – as a base for practical training of students.

After the Second World War, Botanic Garden is managed by different organizations, and in 1967 transferred to Kaliningrad State University. Currently, it is a scientific unit of the department of botany and plant ecology of the Russian State University of Immanuel Kant, a training base for students.

There are: conservatories, greenhouses, a pond, a nursery of trees, collection of herbaceous and woody parts of plants. Every year in the garden are over 200 reviews and thematic tours. Botanic Garden has business contacts with 200 gardens all over the world.

Museum of World Ocean is museum with exhibitions devoted to navigation, the marine flora and fauna, geology and hydrology of the oceans, as well as marinistic library, and existing environmental station. The museum organized the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation 12 April 1990. The main museum exhibit – the legendary research vessel «Vityaz», have made an outstanding contribution to the study of oceans and the whole world knows.

Visitors can see also the research vessel «Cosmonaut Viktor boy», submarine «B-413», collection of ancient cannons and anchors.

Central Park loved by people of various ages. For the kids here is full of merry-go-round attractions, there is even a mini-pool.

The park also has «Song Festival Ground», built in 2006, an open stage with amphitheater. There are various concerts for children and adults on the Day of Kaliningrad (the first weekend of July) and national holidays. From 2006 this stage of singing concerts of international jazz festival «Don Chento Jazz».

Regional Puppet Theater is located at the Lutheran Church the memory of Queen Louise (built in the 1899-1901). There are not just children’s shows. The theater will be happy to provide a platform for the presentation of experimental youth groups, music festivals and competitions.
